After taking a second look at all my prior headcanons, I really realize just how low Hiro’s self-esteem is. It doesn’t matter if he’s a genius or how confident he acts during adrenaline rushes; he’s still a damn human being.
That’s why, if Tadashi isn’t always there to help rise him up every step of the way, nothing can stop Hiro from automatically thinking he’s dumb, which is why everything he makes is dumb.
And he implies what he makes is worthless and/or useless, so by extension, that’s how he sees himself.
Unless Tadashi is there to make him see otherwise, as seen ^^above^^.
And yeah, okay, Tadashi obviously feels a rush of love for Hiro every single time this happens and his undying, unconditional support for Hiro consistently shows up without fail–no judgement, no refusal, no questions.
We all know how he dedicated his entire life to helping people, but he dedicated his entire self to helping Hiro.
But it really, really must have killed Tadashi to know this about Hiro. To see how hard it is for his brilliant little brother to see just how brilliant he is.
No wonder he made Baymax to be so damn supportive, kind, and encouraging.
Because just in case there’d come a day he wouldn’t be able to…
…Baymax can always be there to help Hiro–every step of the way.
Yokai! Tadashi part 3 / ‘Redemption’ (<<i guess that’ll be the title, given the meaning that’s gonna revolve around Hamada bros in this story)
i was a bit rusty working on this part. i drew it before i did ‘Always.’ that was like almost 2 months ago? when i got back to continue working on it, i was a bit lost, lol. the info that i stored about TBI is also lost with my broken HDD TT^TT and i can’t rely on my no-good memory alone, i sort of had to re-work on some parts.
i’ve read about TBI since when i was a kid, at that time i was fascinated by how it could alternate people’s heart.
i had few directions with this story, so any comments will be fun to read of what you think about it. i’m glad someone is still reading. i hope to finish it :D
